Praise

 

At Excellence in Education, we believe that praise is an effective tool when encouraging children to recognise their achievements and motivate them to succeed again. It boosts their self-esteem and helps them to think about themselves positively. Praising children's effort promotes a growth mindset. 

As tutors, our role is to support children in areas they may find challenging but also guide them in self-belief and understanding that it is ok to make mistakes and that we learn from them.
